Riding for AA&MDSIF - 2008
The Ride - Saturday, August 9th, 2008 8:00 AM

- When Samuel Jordan was suddenly struck ill in June of 2000, Sam, his family and friends quickly learned a lot about aplastic anemia. Sam passed away on August 8th, 2000.
- In an effort to raise awareness and funding for research, the Middlesex Century was organized. A group of friends get together and bike 100 miles on a Saturday in August. The goal is to see enough funds raised for AA&MDSIF to have a research grant named in Sam’s honor. 2008 is the eighth year of the ride.
- Riding through suburban Boston - Maynard, Chelmsford, Marlborough, Framingham and Waltham. The route changes from year to year. In the past the route has taken riders from Concord to Princeton and up Mt. Wachusett. Join us!
